Annabel Andrews born on the Isle of Wight. She now lives and works in El Escorial, where the colour, light and volumes of the mountains inspire her work, as well as her friendship with the late Spanish artists Pablo Palazuelo, constructivist and José Guerrero of abstract expressionist current.
She is a minimalist artist, abstract expressionist. The drawing of human figure and line stroke is an escape. She prepares her own canvases based on homemade casein glue and white zinc, her canvases have a light and luminous touch, ready to apply acrylic colours. She also does collage, engraving, watercolour and drawing.
