Bernard Simunovic

Bernard Simunovic creates an extraordinary composition in each of his works. The simple black or coloured contour line, runs through his classical paintings or in more graphical artworks as a “thread” of life. He is interested in themes like intimacy and society, exploring transience of human beings and all kinds of relationship among creatures – the barely existence, “being”, is connected in all his works. The works are primarily distinguished by their complex simplicity. They tell stories, sometimes humorous or sarcastic, inviting the viewer to stimulate and explore their own introspection.
