Chasing Clouds

The artist loves the spring weather here in Kent, south east England, where she lives and works. This painting is inspired by the sunshine, warmth and explosion of green grass, new flowers and warm air. She uses top quality Golden acrylics, and spends time layering the canvas with many shades of paint, flicking, using a palette knife, brushes rags and allowing paint to drip down the canvas in order to create a rich textured paint surface. This canvas is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
