The artist follows the seasons in her painting, and this piece is inspired by the cold winter days. Winter light is cool and skies are often subtle pale tones. She loves Pembrokeshire, Wales. Abermawr is a tiny cove and surrounded by a stunning coast path. People are surfing, walking, swimming, and cycling. It's a paradise and she loves being here - she visits once or twice a year from her home in Kent and spends time painting.
She loves to work with many layers and tones of paint and build these up slowly on her canvasses, she uses brushes, rags, palette knives and brushes to create a rich and textured surface on the canvas.
This painting is unframed and has white painted edges. It is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
