Julian St.Clair

Julian St.Clair grew up in London and found that a flat and graphic approach to picture making was right for him. Some of the artists associated with pop art have become those he feels closest to in spirit. He sometimes thinks of himself as an abstract painter enchanted by images. Often these images are derived from the Golden Age of popular culture as he finds the passing of time has endowed these images with a special kind of poetry that he find particularly beguiling.
