Lynne Douglas

Lynne Douglas was born and raised in Scotland, she now lives and works on the Isle of Skye where the wild sea and moody skies inspire her work. Lynne’s oversized statement art is rapidly gaining recognition and is in collections around the world.

“My work is inspired by the fabulous patchwork of colours and textures of the Scottish landscape. I paint with my camera working instinctively as the light and my mood changes. In all kinds of weather, I am to be found on a clifftop or by the beach working with or battling against the elements. My favourite time of year is Winter when high tides and raging skies create endless inspiration for my work.”
