Marcello Carrozzini
Marcello Carrozzini is an Italian painter, illustrator and designer, born in Sassari in the island of Sardinia. After several group and individual exhibitions in different Italian and European cities, the artist settled in Paris, France in 1990. There, he established a textile design studio and produced many prestigious furnishing fabrics collections worldwide. From 1993 to 2000, he participated in international fairs such as INDIGO in Lille & Brussels, HEIMTEXTIL in Frankfurt and SURTEX in New York. The artist moved to Lebanon in 1998 and was responsible for managing the creative output of IKONA Design (advertising agency), in parallel to his painting career and participating in individual and collective art exhibitions. He is now based in Barcelona, Spain and dedicates his time fully to painting. Art has become a second language that allows the artist to express his emotions and his views on essential things in life.
