Regine Wolff
German Painter Regine Wolff was born and grew up in Eastern Germany. She graduated there as a designer for textile patterns and surface design in 1995. She always painted and used art as a starting point for her fabric designs. In 2010 she started to exhibit her paintings too and had her first solo exhibition in 2013.
Regine Wolff's paintings deal with the separation of man and nature and the insistence on this artificial construct. The situations of animals and humans in Wolff's works are absurd, cryptic and enigmatic.
Her works were exhibited in galleries and museums in Germany, Austria and Russia, and are represented in private and public collections.
