Yuliya Martynova
Born and raised in Kazakhstan on the shores of Caspian Sea in a small oily town, Yuliya Martynova’s work contemplates over the subject of departure – the cognitive state of parting with someone or something valuable. Weight-free existence and escapism, infantilism and ingenuity of human kind, loss of identity and change in life pace are all inspirations. Watercolour in particular has been Yuliya's media and she ventures to mix water-based materials with oil, graphite, and acrylic on wood, canvas and paper. In her seascape collection she focuses on escaping the city for the idyllic Blue Bay shores.
Yuliya is a frequent participant of London art fairs; she also works with interior designers on luxury residential, cruise liners and hospitality projects.
