A WORD OF A THOUSAND IMAGES
I want to create something that does not exist in watercolour. Watercolour may be known as a traditional medium, but it has unlimited possibilities. This work lies between sculpture and painting. I call it a watercolour mosaic.
It is made from an assemblage of smaller watercolours painted on paper, which are then cut, folded and connected to make the final piece. I started this abstract series after I moved from Italy to Heidelberg, Germany.
