This series of works is analogous in its statement to the "Wandlung" series.
The ultimate goal is the transformation of the square or rectangle into the circle - THE OKTOGON.

It is always based on the number eight. The mythological meaning of this number is very diverse - for me the decisive factor is the meaning of the infinity of the figure eight in lying form. The works in this series of works consist of 8 plane circles, each of which is composed of 8 circles. The whole work - squares and circles - is composed of 12 levels. The number 12 is as 3x4 the union of the number of the deity (feeling) with the number of the world (mind). It thus symbolizes the number for what has become complete.
