Church in Lviv

The painting "Church in Lviv" holds a special place in the creative work of the artist. He lived in Lviv in 2017. In this wonderful city, he experienced a revival of his interest in outdoor painting. The architecture, the condition of nature and the people – everything inspired him. In this painting, he wanted to show his elation with the things he saw. In reality, we live in special places. Each city is linked to certain stories and legends. The painting shows a casually sauntering person. We tend to not focus on the past in our mind, but nevertheless we are intimately connected with it. The person in the painting perhaps knows nothing about the place and the church next to which he is strolling, but he certainly is gaining experience by being close to it. We may not know much about the past of our world, but the present is woven of past things, and the future will be the fruit of our present actions.
