This piece was constructed on a hand-stretched canvas. It was meticulously created with layers of acrylic paint collaged with painted strips of torn watercolour paper. Some of the layers have text applied with photo transfer techniques. The colours were inspired by the sea, sky, and beach of the artist's home in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The artist created this piece as a companion to Message In A Bottle. They would be the perfect diptych to fill a large wall or above a sofa.
