Acrylic on canvas
150 x 100 x 2 cm / 59.1 x 39.4 x 0.8 in
Executed in 2019
The painting represents the balance between red and blue, between nature and architecture. The artist used linear and atmospheric perspective (blue gradients of the sea). Everything is created from elementary geometrical shapes and simple color gradation. The light plays the main role in the painting, and it is inspired by Le Corbusier-“Architecture is the masterly, correct, and magnificent play of masses brought together in light. Our eyes are made to see forms in light: light and shade reveal these forms.” The painting is signed on the back.
