The works inspired by the Daunt Bookstore in Marylebone retain a very special meaning for the artist, because it was one of her collectors in California who, while on vacation in London, suggested that she should go and visit this wonderful bookstore. She was right in thinking that the artist'd love it and that's how an entire series came out from that first visit. Books and art are two realms with very much in common and in the artist's research books and literature always play a vital role.
