Mesmerising teal blue and navy colour field inspired work. This was made as a single image in camera using subtle movements of the camera to smooth out all features other than the sea and the sky. Made on Scarista Beach on the remote Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides on a late September evening when the sky had darkened on the horizon.
This is one of those images that the artist could look at forever and not get tired or really ever understand it, it seems to have endless depth and mystery. The artist loves the fabulous mineral colours of these ancient islands.
