Looks can be deceiving. What appears to be a framed photo of a dog on a beach, leaning against a wall is worth another look. Because in front of it are a Vans shoe and a ball of yarn, whch are reflected, mirror-like in the image. But wait … the ball of yarn, which is on the floor unwinds right into the picture. Clearly there are some loose ends going on in this painting that with a proper story, might be all tied together.
