The series "Mångata" explores the marriage of gestural color-field with exacting stencilled graphics. Built upon a multilayered convergence of aerosol painting, pyrography and hard-edge techniques on wood, this ethereal series solicits our visual perception by suggesting optical motifs emerging out obscuration and shimmering planes. The piece comes ready to hang and is lightly varnished with clean natural wood edges.
