This piece was constructed on a hand-stretched canvas. It was meticulously created with soft layers of acrylic paint collaged with painted strips of torn watercolor paper. Some of the layers have text applied with photo transfer techniques. The colors were inspired by the sea, sky, and beach of the artist's home in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Coastal Sunset is the perfect companion piece if you need to cover a large wall.
