Midnight in Miami

The artist's always loved the colour of a cyanotype print. As a trained photographer he created these sun-exposed prints in college and now many years later he has revisited the technique. The deep cyan colour is the result he envisioned as the final painting. He also wanted to add a complimentary orange with brown and tan to create a mid-century vibe. Not all of the lines are straight by design. He feels the combination of straight and slightly angles lines creates a wonderful tension.
