Spring is slowly arriving in rural Kent, where the artist lives and works. Early morning colour is very pretty here, the artist lives at the bottom of a hill, as we often have mists and very soft light before the day starts properly, this painting is inspired by early morning, early spring. She drops, flicks, uses palette knives, and rags as well as brushes to create a rich textured surface on the canvas.
The canvas is unframed, has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
