The works from the “Oleum" series are inspired by the Mediterranean flora and by the populations that live by this sea. The search for the similitudes that exist between things and people, a recurring element in the artist's work in this case focuses on the vegetation, its shadows, its sounds. Sometimes the same images and sensations can be perceived in places very distant from each other, reminding us that, like the olive trees and its fruits, we are born from the earth too, thanks to the strength of nature. The artist talks about all the fruits of nature, both the spontaneous ones and those who came thanks to the dedication of human beings. The message is simple and complex at the same time: we come from the earth and we have to take care of it.
