The open series is inspired by the series of daily paintings by artists like Peter Dreher ("Every day you paint is a good day") or Edward B. Gordon ("A painting a day"). These small works help to create and maintain a painterly routine, even when there is little time or when large works get bogged down.
The picture „PORTRAIT X“ belongs to a series of small monkey portraits. The sides are neon colours so that a reflective coloured aura is on the wall creating a coloured aura around the picture.
The artist is proud that a group of 5 of these portraits were purchased for a public collection in Germany.
