River Of Light

This is one of a pair of large paintings on a theme of water and reflections in beautiful colour combinations. Keeping the big picture in mind, and staying unified with the image is vital, so the artist spent a lot of time on standing back and looking at the painting in progress.

The artist used Golden acrylic paints to create multilayers of paint, either by working with the canvas on the ground or letting paint drip down by propping the canvas up slightly. This painting is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
