Spending part of her childhood Addis Abeba (Ethiopia), where her parents worked inside international co-operation and where the arist lived for some years took her to not take for granted beauty of things. From then the artist a mindful approach to objects, to their use and their consumption. Her city vision and her passion for a certain kind of architecture is a mixture of her childhood memories. An imprinting. The beautiful and functional buildings made by Italians in the sad colonial era in Ethiopia; rationalist architecture of North European countries that also built in Addis; the Spartan approach to socialist architecture after relationships established between URSS and Ethiopia. All of that hold together by property speculation's time's popular architecture, the so called "INA casa" constructions, buildings that could have been pretty and functional if isolated from the decaying environment.
