The third painting from series of Snowmen. This scene depicts snowmen making other snowmen to make up a team for a game of hockey. A team which belongs to a professional league team as a preparation and testing ground for potential players in the professional league is called a farm team so the artist is doing a kind of word play here.
This painting is varnished to protect the surface from dust and sunlight.
