A giant oak tree sits atop a rock formation off an ocean shore. A turbulent sky is above. Men in black carrying brief cases approach the rock formation, walking right out to it, oblivious of the water at their feet. What is in their brief cases? Why are they approaching the formation? And why is this, "The Last Tree"?
