“The path of most resistance” is from The River Meets Sea series. Inspired by the artist’s childhood memories of fishing for mackerel with her father whilst also considering where "exactly" the river meets the sea, Parr explores the fine line between pure abstraction and figurative recognition, between chance and control working with oil and acrylic on canvas.
She would like to convey a mood, an atmosphere, a suadade, (a love that remains) for the viewer.
