The day the artist visited the Taj Mahal the weather was terrible. It was a damp February morning, it had been raining torrentially all night, it was cold and windy. He had envisioned leaving Agra with a set of photographs of the white marble building glistening in the morning sun, but standing in front of it he predicted that wasn’t going to happen.
After visiting the inside the artist walked around the majestic walls of the Taj-Mahal. The rain had stopped and a dense fog was looming in. Away from the crowds that had taken over the main entrance he sat in a quiet spot and photographed the silent building playing with the fog. In the end, he was pleased his images revealed a different, moody side to this amazing building.
